Any McLaren 570S Spider is a rather sumptuous thing, I’m sure you’ll agree, but a special one-off version has been created for Valentine’s Day. Finished a resplendent shade called Vermillion Red, this loved-up 570S Spider will be hitting the road tomorrow to share a bit of love – and V8 power.

As well as the fitting paintwork, step inside this 562bhp droptop and you’ll find an interior finished in Apex Red leather complimented by Jet Black nappa leather. The steering wheel also features Apex Red, plus there are also MSO Defined Indian Red seatbelts. Rounding off this romantic and premium interior is generous amounts of carbon fibre and Carbon Black alcantara trim described as ‘sultry’ by the British performance brand.
That won’t be the only thing to tickle your pickle though, how about a twin-turbo 3.8 litre V8, which lovingly chucks out 562bhp with 600Nm. This power is married to a seven-speed automatic gearbox and once engaged, it’ll hit 62mph in just 3.2 seconds and then on to a top speed of 204mph. Not only does it have the same performance as the coupe, but you can also put down the roof to enjoy the wind in you hair and the V8 noise in your ears. Mind you, you’ll only be able to hit 194mph with the top off.
If your heart is set on this car then I’m afraid I’ll have to left you down gently – it’s taken. You’ll just have to love it from a far. Ah the one that got away…
