French brand Peugeot has announced its to add a new special edition to its 208 range, as well as offering new ‘Summer Drive’ finance packages to make ownership more cost effective.
An ‘Alluring’ Model?
The new model is called the 208 ‘Allure Premium’ and is priced from £16,565, but what does that include? Fitted with the 1.2 litre PureTech 82 petrol engine, the Allure Premium offers exterior features such as panoramic roof, 16″ matte black alloys, tinted rear windows, and heated, electric door mirrors. 10 colours are also available, including the ‘look at me!’ Orange Power finish.
Inside the Allure Premium buyers will enjoy features ambient lighting, colour touchscreen with the usual mod cons such as Bluetooth and so forth, plus there is a rear reversing camera and rear electric windows. Navigation is not included, but it can be specced on as an optional extra.
Accessible Ownership
Owning a new 208 may be more accessible than you think as the brand has both the Peugeot Passport and Just Add Fuel finance packages available to help spread the cost on a PCP plan. As well as offering a generous £2,000 deposit contribution on all 208 models – even the GTI. Just Add Fuel has been an successful option as it provides the car, servicing costs and insurance, so like the name suggests, you just add fuel.
This offer comes with a telematics box and is available for drivers 18 years or above, with a representative rate of 2.9%. The new Summer Drive offer allows new buyers to save even more as there are savings of up to £1,300 available, depending on the model. In the case of the Allure Premium, buyers will save a cool £1,100, which could be saved for a rainy day. And let’s face it, we get quite a few of those during a British summer…
