There was so much fanfare when you the Velar was announced, so much so, that you’d be forgiven that the Evoque was a thing of the past. It’s still going strong, and in fact the demand for it is still increasing according to Land Rover. Since its birth six years ago over 600,000 have been built at the brand’s Halewood plant. In fact, a new Evoque rolls of the production line every 170 seconds – 80% of which are destined for owners outside of the UK.

To celebrate this landmark, Land Rover has announced a special ‘Landmark’ edition, which is based on the diesel 180H TD4 Evoque and is available from today with prices starting at £39,000 for the manual and £40,840 for the automatic. It’s finished in Moraine Blue, a colour that has been inspired by turquoise lakes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains – fair enough. If you don’t fancy that colour then you can also select Yulong White and Corris Grey.

No matter which colour you pick though, you’ll be able to enjoy features such as Gloss Dark Grey 19″ Alloy Wheels, Carpathian Grey Contrast Roof, Metallic Paint, Keyless entry, powered tailgate, fixed panoramic roof and Graphite Atlas style details.

The Landmark edition has new dynamic detailing and a distinctive aesthetic which takes its design credentials to an even higher level – it looks fantastic and we know customers will love it.”

The new model enjoyed its global debut at the Royal Windsor Horse Show and is now available to order with prices starting from £39,000.
