Let’s be honest, the Nissan Pulsar is not one of the first cars you think of when you are looking to buy medium-sized hatchback. Not that there’s anything specifically wrong with it, it just kind of blends in the background somewhat. However, there is a new special edition to give the Japanese hatchback greater appeal.
More Premium, More Style
What can one expect from the new Nissan Pulsar N-Connecta Style Edition? Well for starters, quite a few syllables – 13 for those that aren’t counting. Obviously, that is not what Nissan designed the car for, what is has been designed for is to make the car more premium and more stylish.
It’s based on the mid-range N-Connecta model, meaning you’ll get features such as reversing camera, navigation, automatic lights and wipers, Bluetooth, cruise control and dual zone climate control, to name a few. UK price for the the Style model is yet to be announced, but expect it to be more than the £17,925 asking price for the standard model.
On top of the standard specification, the Style model adds black bezel sports headlights, black door mirrors and chunky diamond cut 18″ alloys finished in black. The car will come with a 1.2 litre petrol engine that produces 113bhp, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Ryan Gains, Chief Marketing Manager, Pulsar, Nissan Europe, commented: “The Nissan Pulsar remains a hit across Europe, with customers awarding it an impressive 9.1 out of 10 with independent feedback organisation Reevoo.”
He added: “Building on this success, the new Pulsar N-Connecta Style Edition will satisfy customers seeking a more contemporary and stylish five-door hatchback.” The new model is on sale now across Europe.
