Citroën has announced the UK pricing for the new C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso which will both be offered in three new trim levels – Touch Edition, Feel and Flair. There are two new PureTech petrol engines for the new models with prices starting at £19,635 for the C4 Picasso and £21,935 for the Grand C4 Picasso.
What can I expect for my money?
The base model C4 Picasso now comes with the PureTech 110 S&S petrol engine which is mated to a six-speed manual – the PureTech 130 S&S automatic is also a new addition and features on the Feel and Flair trim levels. For those wanting economy there are BlueHDi engines which come with either manual or automatic options. The new cars also come with four different interior ambiances and the Flair trim can be specified with full ‘Nappa’ leather.
The C4 Picasso comes with 17″ diamond-finish alloy wheels when the Feel trim is selected whilst the Grand C4 Picasso receives integrated roof bars and aluminium side profile when the range-topping Flair trim has been selected. To keep things fresh Citroen has added two new colours to the range – Lazuli Blue and erm, Soft Sand.
Ample technology for a fair price
The Picasso may be one of the cheapest cars in its category but that’s not say buyers will go wanting – an 3D upgraded Citroën Connect Nav system with TomTom live mapping is present as well as Mirror Screen which connects your smartphone to the touchscreen display via Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink. Buyers who opt for the Flair model will also benefit from a hands-free tailgate to aid convenience – and encourage laziness. Also at the back of the Picasso are 3D-effect lights which are a standard feature across the range.
Both the C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso are available from the 1st of September.
