We all know the Honda Jazz, it’s the car that’s likely to be driven by someone who still has memories of the war. In fact, the average age of the Jazz driver is 78. Actually I just made that up, if I’m honest, but the chances are you believed it. The new Honda Jazz has got a more dynamic and sporty styling, which should appeal to those in to hip hop rather than hip ops. Today, the Japanese brand has announced prices for the latest Jazz as well as specification.
How much is it?
Prices for the new Jazz start from £14,115, which will give you the entry level ‘S’ model. This is powered by a 1.3 litre petrol engine and the car itself is able to offer standard features such as air conditioning, cruise control with speed limiter, and automatic lights. The mid-range SE model will cost you £15,615 and this adds features such as front and rear parking sensors, heated door mirrors and 15″ alloy wheels.
At the top of the range you have the EX model, which is priced from £17,115. This offers keyless entry and start, climate control, reversing camera, 16″ alloys, front fog lamps, and LED headlights. That’s not all though, there is also a Sport model.
What? A Sport Model?
Oh yes, the new Honda Jazz also offers a Sport model which is powered by 1.5 litre petrol engine that produces 128bhp. The car is based on the SE model, but you get neat features such as a thinner front splitter beneath the front grille and a triple-strake diffuser to the rear bumper – both finished with a sporty red accent line similar to the Civic Type R.
This model also has LED headlights, front fog lamps, sporty side skirts, a rear spoiler and 16″ alloy wheels. It’s almost as if little ol’ Doris has been on Pimp My Ride. The inside features a leather wrapped steering wheel and gearknob, which have been treated with orange stitching. The Sport model will cost from £17,155 and is available to pre-order now.
