It’s without doubt that any Rolls-Royce is special, and seeing one on the road is normally quite an event. In fact, I saw a Phantom parked in my local Tesco the other day and I had to look twice. It was so vast, it didn’t even fit in the parking bay properly.
The Exclusive To End All Exclusives
H.R. Owen has recently taking delivery of a Rolls-Royce Dawn that is so exclusive, there is only one of them in the world, and it’s called the ‘Mayfair Edition’. It was built to celebrate 85 years of the Rolls-Royce/H.R. Owen partnership – a partnership that enjoyed its most successful year in 2016.
The Dawn Mayfair Edition features the world’s first copper dashboard on a Dawn, and the cabin also features embroidered treadplates that read “Special Commission – Mayfair Edition One of One”. The car itself is finished in Berwick Bronze, which is contrasted by sumptuous Arctic White leather seats, making for a very tasteful, luxury finish – but what else would you expect? The car was actually designed by the Rolls-Royce Cars London staff, and I have to say, they’ve done a pretty decent job.
Claus Andersen, Brand Director of Rolls-Royce, said: “We are delighted to welcome this ultra-rare car to Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London, appropriately on an anniversary year for the dealership. Our clients value exclusivity very highly indeed, and this 1 of 1 Dawn Mayfair Edition has that overwhelming exclusive appeal. The success of the Berkeley Square showroom has put us in a position to be able to offer such a stunning car, and we’re excited to find its very lucky owner.”
The bespoke model is now available to view at H.R. Owen Rolls-Royce London, which is situated in the iconic Berkeley Square.
