With the Geneva Motor Show around the corner this is the the time of year manufacturers like to tease us all with arty teaser pictures. Hyundai is no different in that respect. The Korean brand has today released a teaser picture of its new i30 Wagon, which will be unveiled at the aforementioned motor show next month.
Although you cannot see much in the picture Hyundai has said the new estate will feature a ‘timeless design’, much like the i30 hatchback revealed a few months back. Like the hatch, Hyundai says the Wagon will feature a versatile yet elegant design.
“The New Generation i30 Wagon speaks the language of the i30 family in terms of design, and it carries the new Hyundai family identity – the Cascading Grille,” explains Thomas Bürkle, Chief Designer at Hyundai Design Centre Europe. “The tapering roofline and the dynamic proportions give the Wagon an almost coupé-like silhouette. The sleek and dynamic profile is further emphasised by a rich chrome frame surrounding the side windows.”
The new i30 Wagon will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show on the 7th of March at 8:15am (CET).
