We all like a bit of value for money, especially as many of us are still recovering from a wallet-busting Christmas. This is where Skoda is able to step in with two new Yeti models which offer a decent amount of kit whilst also keeping costs down.

What are they?

There are two new trims to the Yeti roster which are SE Drive and SE L Drive. Both trims are based on the already successful SE and SE L trims but offer better value for money with the SE Drive trim offering £2,295 worth of extra equipment for just £935 and the SE L Drive offering £1,850 worth of equipment for an extra £755.

What’s included?

On top of the standard SE features such as climate control, cruise control and rear parking sensors; SE Drive adds satellite navigation, front parking sensors, heated front seats, heated windscreen and an auto-dimming rear view mirror. The SE Drive also benefits from new upholstery and 17-inch alloy wheels to make it more distinctive.

Based on the SE L trim, the SE L Drive offers buyers features such as leather upholstery, LED rear lights, part silver roof rails, 17-inch alloy wheels and Bi-Xenon headlights. Both trims will have a choice of a 1.2 litre petrol which produces 108bhp or a 2.0 litre diesel which produces either 108 or 148bhp. Both engines come with a choice of either a manual or automatic gearbox although if you’re looking for four-wheel drive you’ll need to select the 2.0 litre diesel.

The SE Drive will start at £20,095 and for that you will be presented with the 1.2 petrol with a manual gearbox, whilst the SE L Drive starts £21,745, which comes with the same engine and gearbox setup. The new Yeti is available to order now.
