The Q60 is almost here but there is still time to wait. The luxury brand has now revealed the price for its Q60 although the price for the faster model with the 400bhp V6 engine will have its price announced at the Paris Motor Show. The price for that will be around the same as the BMW 440i but let’s leave that on the back-burner for the time being.
How much is it?
Let’s focus on the ‘slower’ model for the time being – the entry level features a four cylinder 2.0 litre engine which produces 208bhp. The price for this model will be £33,990 and is available to pre-order now. Infiniti says the new Q60 has been designed to offer a truly dynamic experience and I have to say, it certainly looks the part. But will it be able to walk the walk as well as talk the talk?
Put your money where your mouth is
Infiniti’s new Digital Dynamic Suspension has been deployed in the new Q60 to offer a ride that is not only dynamic but compliant as well so this should be sharp when you need it to be but also comfort enough for cruising around swanky parts of town.
Second-generation Direct Adaptive Steering has also been deployed to ensure there are high levels of steering feel and feedback, plus there is a Drive Mode Selector which will allow drivers to personalise the steering for their own preferences. The sports coupe market is a pretty competitive market so can the Q60 do enough to stand out from the crowd? Based on looks alone I think it’ll do juuuuuust fine.
